ABPBC logo "Book Passage" is a joint program of the Association of Book Publishers of BC and BC Ferries. This Innocent Corner was among 21 titles featured in summer 2011. The promotion is finished, but the pamphlet is still on-board, as is the book on some runs. Watch for it on your next ferry trip!

In The Hindu, Nobel laureate Amartya Sen compares indicators of poverty and development in Bangladesh with India's indicators. He argues for going beyond GNP per capita to find the real story.

Bangladesh is one of twenty countries of focus for Canada's aid program. Bangladesh has been one of Canada's largest aid recipients for the last three decades.

The US-based International Center for Transitional Justice reviews the recently-established International Crimes Tribunal mandated to prosecute Bangladeshi collaborators of the 1971 war atrocities.
