Oolichan Books is the publisher of This Innocent Corner. Oolichan Books is a literary press, publishing poetry, fiction and non-fiction titles including literary criticism, memoirs, and books on regional history, First Nations and policy issues.

Shehzad Noorani is a photographer living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  He was born in Bangladesh, and has spent a substantial period of his life living in Dhaka.  He took the photo that appears on the cover of This Innocent Corner. 

"Book Passage" is a joint program of the Association of Book Publishers of BC and BC Ferries. This Innocent Corner was among 21 titles featured in summer 2011. The promotion is finished, but the pamphlet is still on-board, as is the book on some runs. Watch for it on your next ferry trip!

The US-based International Center for Transitional Justice reviews the recently-established International Crimes Tribunal mandated to prosecute Bangladeshi collaborators of the 1971 war atrocities.

Peggy J. Herring hails from Texas and writes lesbian romance. Her books are very popular. I first discovered her by chance at a bookstore in London.   Bella Books is her publisher.
